ZOSI Dome & Specialty Cameras

How to choose

First, check what you already own. The 5MP domes and the C290 pair work only with a ZOSI PoE NVR, and they need a free port on it or on a PoE switch. The HD-TVI domes need an HD-TVI or hybrid DVR and won't work on a PoE recorder. If you have no recorder at all, a standalone camera is the simpler start. The C298 WiFi cameras need power at the mount and a WiFi signal outside, and they can record to a memory card. The C291 needs neither power nor cable, but it records only when it detects motion and joins 2.4GHz WiFi only. Indoors, the C680 suits renters who want to watch the street through a window without drilling, while the C518 covers a room and adds a one-touch call button for family. Pan-tilt models cover more ground from one spot, while fixed domes hold one steady view and have no moving parts. For storage, the PoE add-ons record to your NVR's drive, the C298 and C518 take a memory card, and the C291 comes with a 32GB card. Keep that in mind if you want every camera's footage in one place: only the PoE cameras land on the same recorder.
