ZOSI NVR Security Kits

Four 8-channel ZOSI PoE kits built on a 4K NVR and a 2TB drive. They split by camera style and count: four 5MP bullets, eight 5MP bullets, a mixed set of pan-tilt cameras and bullets, or four 8MP C296 pan-tilt cameras. To see how many channels each of these NVR kits leaves free, check the kit table in our ZOSI review.

Who it's for

Homeowners who want a smaller 8-channel system and are choosing by camera type and resolution.

What you'll find

• The 8CH 4K PoE, 4×5MP, 2TB: four 5MP bullets with 120ft infrared night vision and four channels open.
• The 8CH 4K NVR, 8×5MP PoE, 2TB: eight 5MP bullets that fill every channel from the start.
• The 8CH 4K PoE, 4×5MP Bullet PT, 2TB: two pan-tilt cameras and two bullets, with starlight color night vision and floodlights.
• On every kit: one Ethernet cable per camera, person and vehicle detection, and expansion to 16 channels with an optional PoE switch.
• Recording to the included 2TB drive, with remote viewing in the ZOSI Smart app and no monthly fee.

How to choose

All four kits share the same 8-channel recorder size, so the choice comes down to how you want each spot watched. Bullets hold one fixed view and reach furthest at night, which suits a long driveway or the back of a deep garden. Eight bullets cover the most ground right away but leave no free input, while the four-bullet kit keeps four channels for later. Pan-tilt cameras do more work per mount: one camera over a parking area can turn toward a gate when something moves. The mixed kit gives you both, with pan-tilt cameras for open areas and bullets for doors. If picture detail matters most, the C296 kit records at 8MP and zooms digitally up to 5X. Whatever you choose, check that each mounting point can take an Ethernet run back to the recorder, since that single cable is what powers the camera. A 2TB drive fills faster with eight cameras than with four, so if you want weeks of footage rather than days, set motion recording on the quieter views and keep 24/7 recording for the doors that matter most.
