About this product
No cables at all: the four C291 cameras run on a built-in 10050mAh battery topped up by a solar panel, and connect to your home network over 2.4GHz WiFi. That makes them a practical choice for a farm, a long yard or a gate where running Ethernet or power isn't realistic. ZOSI quotes up to 3 months of standby on one charge, based on 20 activations a day.
To save power, each camera wakes and records only when it detects motion. You set clip length to 10, 20 or 30 seconds and review events on a timeline. A 32GB memory card comes in the box, along with a 30-day free cloud trial that needs a subscription afterwards.
Detection pairs a PIR sensor with AI that focuses on human motion. When a person is spotted, the spotlight and siren can switch on and the camera follows the person across its view. You can also steer it yourself through 355° of pan and 90° of tilt in the ZOSI Smart app, and talk back through the built-in speaker.
Picture quality is 2.5K 4MP (2560×1440), with black-and-white or full-color night modes reaching up to 50ft, helped by IR LEDs and the spotlight. The housings are IP66 rated. Because the cameras only join 2.4GHz networks, confirm your router offers that band and that its signal reaches each mounting spot.
