About this product
The camera mix sets this kit apart. ZOSI's description lists two 360° view pan-tilt PoE cameras and two bullet PoE cameras, all at 5MP (2880×1620, which ZOSI calls 3K). The pan-tilt pair can watch a wide yard or parking area from one mounting point, and the bullets hold a steady view on a gate or doorway. ZOSI's point is that the wider field of view lets you cover larger areas with fewer cameras.
Night coverage uses a starlight sensor backed by infrared and LED floodlights, with three modes to pick from:
- Infrared black and white, the default.
- Full-color night vision.
- Auto (smart) mode, which switches between them.
ZOSI notes the cameras support 5X digital zoom only, so mount them close enough to the spots where you want to make out faces.
For detection, the system can recognize faces, people, vehicles, sounds, pets and packages, and you can limit motion alerts to specific areas. When motion is detected the camera sets off a sound and light alarm and sends email and push notifications. A built-in speaker and microphone handle two-way talk and personalized voice messages, useful for greeting a courier or warning off someone at the gate. Housings carry an IP66 weatherproof rating.
The NVR has eight PoE ports and expands to 16 channels, supporting up to 16 PoE cameras, once you add an optional PoE switch (not included). With four cameras connected, four ports remain free from the start. Viewing works on a monitor without internet, through the free ZOSI Client on a tablet or PC, or with the ZOSI Smart app away from home, and recordings can be searched by day, hour or minute.
If you only need fixed views, the 8CH 4K PoE, 4×5MP, 2TB keeps the same channel count with four bullets.
